“TALON”

Talon, a moderate golden retriever, stands 22 3/4" at the shoulder and weighs 80 lbs. His coat, medium gold with light furnishings, is a good double coat with very little wave. He has a gorgeous head that is broad and clean with no loose or excess flew. He has full dentition and a proper bite.

His temperament is wonderful. He gets along with everyone, including the other boys in the house. Quick to learn and willing to please, he could live in a house with first time dog owners very nicely.

He was shown by his breeder/owner and earned 8 points from the puppy and bred-by classes. He won the Lenape Golden Retriever Club bred-by class under breeder judge Nancy Talbott and placed 3rd at the 1999 National under breeder judge Michael Faulkner owner handled in the 9-12 class. After taking the summer off (no majors), he picked up his first major under breeder judge, Donald Sturz at his first show out and finished the next day with a second major the day after his second birthday.

Talon will be working toward his Junior Hunter and Working Certificate this year.
Talon was bred and is owned by Susan Foster. Talon's dam is CH Claircrest Romantic Type's littersister. Talon's sister, Betsy, is owned by Claircrest.
